My conversation with Marty will take us from his days at the University of Alabama with Coach Bear Bryant to his career with the NY Jets as a part of the NY Sack Exchange, to life after football, his broadcasting career as New York Jets Radio Network Analyst, ESPN Radio and the amazing work he does with the Marty Lyons Foundation granting special wishes to children diagnosed with terminal or life-threatening illnesses.

Marty Lyons Foundation

In the span of 6 days early on during his career with the NY JETS Marty’s life changed for ever.  Marty’s dad passed away, a 3 year old boy suffering from advanced illness he became a Big Brother to passed on and he celebrated the birth of his 1st child a son.  That life experience was the genesis of him creating the Marty Lyons Foundation.  For over 35 years it has been the foundation’s mission to grant wishes to children with terminal  or life threatening illnesses.  To learn more about the amazing work Marty and his team do at the foundation please visit their website: http://martylyonsfoundation.org/
