In the span of 6 days early on during his career with the NY JETS Marty’s life changed for ever. Marty’s dad passed away, a 3 year old boy suffering from advanced illness he became a Big Brother to passed on and he celebrated the birth of his 1st child a son. That life experience was the genesis of him creating the Marty Lyons Foundation. For over 35 years it has been the foundation’s mission to grant wishes to children with terminal or life threatening illnesses.
