There are almost two million charitable nonprofit organizations in the United States. That’s nearly two million organizations doing all they can for the community. If you have ever wanted to make an impact, my guest today can help you make your nonprofit stand out among the larger organizations in the United States.
This week I speak with Mitch Shapiro. Mitch is the founder of Help America Hear (formerly known as the Foundation for Sight and Sound), a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals with hearing loss. The cause is one close to his heart: Mitch lives with Usher Syndrome, a rare genetic disease that affects hearing and vision. Mitch is here to discuss how he launched his nonprofit, and how he maintains a positive attitude every day.
